The truth about alignment.

If you’ve thought about, or desired to be in alignment in your life or your business, it’s probably pretty likely you have associated alignment with growth.

When you’re in alignment you’re going to achieve MORE! You’ll achieve all your goals! You’ll succeed!

This can be the case.

It really depends to what degree you are in alignment to start with.

To what degree you’ve been tuning in, listening to yourself and staying connected to flow.

And here’s a hint: if you’re currently pushing, deep in the struggle and finding life really hard? If nothing is really working? If you are forcing and feel scared or worried or trapped in fear?

That’s not alignment.

When you’re struggling and pushing and fighting, there’s no bandaid solution that will magically line you up and help you achieve those goals that currently feel so important.

If it’s feeling that hard?

You might be aiming at the wrong goal posts altogether.

The struggle is a signal from your soul: you’re heading in the wrong direction.

That’s when you open up to true alignment.

Sometimes coming into alignment will actually look like:

// Completely changing direction

// Downsizing your dreams (turns out your sanity is worth more than any external goal)

// Ending something – your business, your relationship, contact with certain family members or friends or your job

// Letting go of your goals and flowing with life for a while

Specifically? If I think about how this has looked for some of my clients this year, coming into alignment has also meant things like:

// Letting go of a job or business model, and moving locations to where they truly want to be

// Realising that even though an ONLINE business may be great for many people, it’s not right for them (I’ve had a number of clients have that realisation)

// Prioritising health, and letting business or other life goals take a back seat for a while

// Dramatically downsizing a business to provide space for a new direction

Where am I starting, as I align to my own next level?

Not with external, quantifiable goals.

The alignment I did yesterday?

“I am 100% aligned with my Soul.”

This is where we start in my group program: Our big, broad intentions about what we truly desire.

(If you don’t have a business, you can also use the Chakra cards + alignment process from my DIY Kinesiology Kit to come into alignment with your goals.)

Sure, I’ll align to more specific, external goals down the track.

But for now, my priority is ensuring that my internal foundations are rock solid.

That’s the kind of platform I want for growth.

The truth about alignment is that living in alignment with your inner purpose takes courage.

Read this wisdom from Eckhart Tolle:

Your life has an inner purpose and an outer purpose.

Inner purpose concerns Being and is primary. Outer purpose concerns doing and it is secondary.

Your inner purpose is to awaken.

It is as simple as that.

You share that purpose with every other person on the planet – because it is the purpose of humanity.

Your inner purpose is an essential part of the purpose of the whole, the universe and its emerging intelligence. Your outer purpose can change over time.

It varies greatly from person to person.

Finding and living in alignment with the inner purpose is the foundation for fulfilling your outer purpose.

It is the basis for true success.

Without that alignment, you can still achieve certain things through effort, struggle, determination, and sheer hard work or cunning.

But there is no joy in such endeavour, and it invariably ends in some form of suffering.
