About me

Hi, I’m Kerry.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that Kinesiology has changed my life. Like, completely.

I started seeing a Kinesiologist because I was feeling stuck. I’d made change after change in my outside world and while things were going ok, deep down I was not particularly happy. There was nowhere left to go but within.

Like many of my clients I’d never heard of Kinesiology but something made me decide to book in.

It fascinated me.

How could the Kinesiologist, with no real knowledge of my life, pinpoint so precisely how I was feeling and even times in my life when certain things had happened, just by using a few muscle tests? Whatever. I felt sooo much better afterwards that soon that didn’t matter.

Underneath the surface, I’d actually been depressed on and off for about 14 years. I’d kind of learnt to deal with it and busyness was one thing that worked. Until I stopped of course.

The short version

In short, I went to a doctor who, when I told him that I felt down at the end of the session, listened to the whole story, diagnosed me with dysthymia (chronic, long-term depression) and ended up prescribing me anti-depressants. I felt at such a loss. I really had tried everything I knew how to do. I started to believe maybe this was the only option.

Coincidentally, I had an appointment with my Kinesiologist the next day. Despite my skepticism that Kinesiology could help something so “dire” as my already confirmed diagnosis, we worked on it in my session. There were a series of incidents and memories from my childhood and teen years that I was evidently holding onto and part of what we did was dissolve the stress around them.

The depression disappeared.

I had a follow up session the following week.

And just like that, it was gone.

So yes, that was a bit of a turning point you could say. As I often find with clients now, once that was sorted, other stuff started to come to the surface.

Things like the fact I was “bored” at work. This came up through a Kinesiology session. I remember saying, “I am NOT bored, I am sooo busy!”

But deep down, I wanted something more.

As often seems to happen when you’re in balance and flowing, a series of coincidences and sychronistic moments occurred as I started to explore career options.

All of a sudden, I was enrolled in a Kinesiology course. And loving it.

I studied Kinesiology for three years on every second weekend. I’m sure you can imagine how the novelty of that wore off! For a while it seemed I was ironically burning myself out even more in order to create balance in my life and follow my dreams.

It was all worth it.

Now I have a job I absolutely love, working with beautiful clients who want to achieve change in their lives, and they do. So impressed by their own results, several of my clients have even decided to study Kinesiology themselves!

Achieving your potential.

The thing that is really fabulous about Kinesiology is that it is not just effective at “fixing stuff” (it doesn’t actually do this, just brings you back into balance but the result is the same), it also helps you create positive changes you haven’t even thought of yet. Possibilities and opportunities start presenting and life just seems to feel a lot more flowing and fun.

And about that potential thing.

It’s not just theoretical. It kind of keeps uncovering.

These days, I also work with people with natural therapy and creative businesses to help them align energetically. Very cool. And also? Hugely effective. I run tele-classes. You can read more over at my other site, Kinesiology for Business.

Want to work with me?

If you’re ready for change, I’d love to work with you. Change happens over time, so plan to have at least a few sessions. Even though clients often get immediate results, it’s what happens after the initial shifts that can often be the most exciting part. That’s when you get to start exploring what is really important to you – your purpose, passion, connection to your intuition and creativity so you can start creating the life you really want. Nearly all of us do this more effectively with support.

Kerry xo
