On my way back from Broome a few months ago I had a massive wave of inspiration.
I sat and wrote for hours; in fact, I was so absorbed in what I was doing that a man sitting two seats over became interested too and kept trying to lean across my husband to see what I was writing.
Yes, it was a little odd.
My idea was a program that I want to run next year and I could see the whole thing – it’s about integrating passion, purpose and creativity into your life over a period of weeks/months.
I got home and soon after, set to work on the Self Alignment Kit. Now that’s complete, I’m ready to integrate!
Align, then integrate.
We often know many of the “right things” we could be doing to support ourselves in our every day lives but doing them can be another matter.
Self love and self acceptance come up all the time for clients in Kinesiology sessions and clients can sometimes get a little stuck, especially if it continues to come up.
- Self love is obviously a choice and an ongoing attitude – but how can we show ourselves this love on a day to day basis?
- How do we include healthy, supportive, self nurturing practices in our every day lives without getting overwhelmed with too much to do?
- How can we create stability for ourselves so we can be more creative and purposeful?
These were the questions inspiring me as I started approaching speakers who I knew had valuable ideas to share about nurturing yourself, protecting your energy and integrating practices like yoga into your daily life.
How does that sound to you, something you’d be interested in?
One of the people I contacted was Kate James, a coach at Total Balance - I wanted to see if she could talk about finding your purpose, a passion of hers.
She was immediately enthusiastic about the idea. And she’s keen to be a part of my program!
I’ll continue to share more over the next few months, the program will start early next year and run as an e-course.
Not familiar with Kate James? Here she is, talking about Meditation on the “The Circle” a few weeks ago:
