Kinesiology and overwhelm

So many clients I’m seeing at the moment are feeling overwhelmed.

It’s the time of the year, the weather, work, relationships … everything! Sometimes, when overwhelm sets in, it feels like nothing is really working. Smaller things that may not usually bother you cause stress.

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, try to remember that small things can make a big difference.

  • Stopping for a minute and just focusing on your breathing
  • Try placing the palm of your hand on your forehead, there are some important acupressure points that can help create calmness and clarity
  • Spending some time in a park – nature often helps
  • Doing a few minutes of yoga or stretching
  • A B complex vitamin can help increase your energy levels and ability to deal with stress (we use more B vitamins when stressed)
  • Keep moving – exercise can help clear your mind
  • Try to eat whole foods and limit the sugar and caffeine

If you’re trying everything you know and still feel stressed and overwhelmed, Kinesiology is a great way to help bring you back into balance. Gain some awareness about the deeper meanings behind how you feel and change some of your attitudes and behaviours.

Kinesiology helps you connect to your own wisdom so you can make choices for yourself again … rather than just reacting to what is happening.

When you’re ready to change, Kinesiology can help it happen far more quickly.

  1. Sleep. Eight hours of it. And no internet for at least an hour before bedtime!
