Remembering: this is awesome

The thing is, Kinesiology really is quite magical and definitely creates amazing results. To be honest, I get used to that.

I expect it.

And just occasionally, I am re-reminded how out of the ordinary it really can be.

Take a relatively new client I have. Like me, and some other clients I see, she was told by a Doctor that her only real option was to go on anti-depressants. She didn’t want to do that.

The depression was strongly associated with her menstrual cycle, with two low points a month, to the point that she knew what day of her cycle she was on by her mood. This has been going on for five years.

As you might imagine, there were some stressors going on around five years ago that needed to be defused. By the time she came for her third session, the depression had lifted. She’s giving it another month to check, but it seems to have gone.

Yep.

“I’m going back to my Doctor,” she said. “If this really is gone … if I never have to go on anti-depressants … after five years … well, this is AMAZING. The Doctor needs to know about this!!! I was never given any options at all. Kinesiology needs to be offered as an option to people!!”

Of course, I agree. I know how effective Kinesiology is. I never would have spent 3 years and $20k to study it if I didn’t. I was told the same thing by a Doctor: “You have no other option.”

And yet, after fourteen years of up and down depression … gone in two Kinesiology sessions. It is pretty incredible.

And yet, there are conditions on the effectiveness of Kinesiology. For a start, it is not something that “happens to you” without any involvement on your part, as a drug might. You need to be ready. You need to be involved in the process. You need to want change.

Your body is actually healing itself, we just raising the awareness about what needs to be balanced.

Plus, you need a level of openness. I never try to sell Kinesiology to anyone, and I don’t intend to start. Every session is so unique that it is pretty difficult to explain and really, we have a relatively limited vocabulary for energy and how it works.

I would just love to see how I would explain it to a Doctor and what the reaction would be:

“Yes so it seemed like this event at age 25 affected the solar plexus chakra (self confidence) which impacted on the adrenals and caused a fight/flight response which was then affecting the kidneys and brought up a lot of fear around being out of control and then that was impacting on oestrogen levels.” Or whatever.*

* I just made that up but you get the idea. It totally makes sense when it’s your stuff

But yeah, Kinesiology is awesome.
